Plans and the Pro trial
Each workspace has its own plan. See the current plan, its limits and your usage under Settings › Plan & usage. Every member of the workspace can open it.
Now (during the beta)
Section titled “Now (during the beta)”During the beta every workspace is on the Beta plan. There are no limits, and creating a new workspace does not start a Pro trial. The create-workspace dialog shows no trial notice either.
After the official launch — the Pro trial
Section titled “After the official launch — the Pro trial”Once the default plan switches to Free at the official launch, a new workspace starts on a 14-day Pro trial. No card or request is needed.
The trial is counted per person (account), not per workspace.
- There is one period: 14 days from the day that person’s first trial starts.
- Within those 14 days, up to 3 workspaces can start on the trial. The trial on the second and third workspace ends on the same day as the first one.
- After the 14 days, or once all 3 are used, any workspace that person creates starts on Free without a trial.
- Deleting a workspace and creating it again does not give the count back.
The create-workspace dialog tells you which one applies before you create it.
- With a trial: “Pro trial · N days left (until the end date) · trial workspace k/3”
- Without: “The trial is once per account (up to 3 workspaces within 14 days), so this workspace starts on the Free plan.”
When the trial ends
Section titled “When the trial ends”A workspace whose trial has ended moves to the Free plan. No data is deleted. Everything that already exists stays viewable and editable; only creating new items beyond the Free limits is blocked. To keep using Pro, request it under Settings › Plan & usage.
Workspaces on a trial still count toward the free workspaces one person can own (5).
